Friends with Flair time!

Friday is always FWF time at the Unity Stamp Co. blog and today I am sharing a card I made using the June KOTM.

This is a clean and simple card that I threw together in a few minutes but love the way it turned out.

Stamps: Unity KOTM 06/12
Paper: lilybee design "Head over Heels"
Ink: Momento Tuxedo Black
Bling: from my stash

I think this sentiment says it all and after attaching it to the card I felt it didn't need anything else. I love it when it all just comes together with ease. :o)

Short and sweet for today. Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think.

As always thanks for stopping by,
Crystal

What's Cooking?

Another week half gone and another card to share! Today I am sharing a card I made using the Ippity stamp set "What's Cooking?". I really like this set because my brother is a chef and he has recently been doing really well at work receiving promotions and such so this card will come in handy. If you have not seen the stamp set yet here it is:

I have made a couple of cards using the chef image and racked my brain trying to come up with a different way of using part of it and this is what I came up with:

The chevron paper by Jillibean Soup called "Butter Beans" is super cute but really busy and I couldn't quite come up with layering that I liked so I left it alone and just added him peeking through the circle. I am quite pleased with how it turned out.

Here is a peek at the inside of my card:

The Ippity blog is sharing more projects using this stamp set so make sure you head on over and check out all the wonderful projects the chicks have to share.

Every Wednesday we will be featuring a specific Ippity set so check back often so you don't miss out! If you are now dying to purchase this stamp set you can do so straight off the Unity Stamp Co website. Just click on my name under my picture and place your order. I would love to be your Ippity chick!

Happy Monday!

Happy Monday everyone! It is certainly feeling like summer around here. It was a very warm weekend and I made time in my weekend to get some much needed crafting in. Today I am sharing with you a card I made using the Ippity stamp set "Born in My Heart".

I made this card for the Ippity by Unity Challenge that can be found here. This challenge runs for two weeks until July 14th. The challenge was to use paint which I used to distress the edges of the card and the edge of the canvas heart. Here is the outside of my card:

And here is the inside:

The challenge prize is 2 itty bitty's of your choice! Make sure you head on over and take the chance to enter. Also, did you know that you can now purchase Ippity stamps on the Unity Stamp Company website? When you click on the Ippity option it will let you pick a chick to order under. I would love to be your chick so just click on my name under my picture.

And here is my card:

For this card I used a sketch from Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #162. The paper I used is from Doodlebug Designs 6x6 paper pad "Sweet Cakes". I paper pieced the cupcake and used copics for the stand and the cherry. I used twine to make the flower behind the button.
